Collage artists journals… again
Lately, I’ve been looking at the ridiculous stack of magazines in my studio, and the bag of magazines in the trunk of my car… issues that I know I should take to Goodwill or something, but just can’t seem to do it.
I think I’m going to try daily collage journals again.
I may try it and decide that my collaging-in-journals phase is best left in the past. I’m not sure.
But, I think I’m going to try it again, just to see what happens.
Update 28 Nov 09: October was wildly busy, and the start of November was catch-up time. Now, I’ve gathered all of my magazines and I have a new journal and journaling supplies ready.
So, now it’s a matter of getting started. It still feels courageous to do that, even after all these years.

Great to see you posting again and it would be even better to see some more of your work. You were one of my chief inspirations (along with Tera Leigh) ‘back in the day’ when I first started trawling the internet for what I later found out were called art journals.
I began following you a few years back when you were doing art journaling and you became my inspiration.
I work in acrylic, paper, ink, felt pen and rism pens…for some reason, the pens are not writing over the acrylic paints lately, and the Krylon workable fixative I have used leaves an odd surface behind. Are there some waterproof pens and stamping ink that dry more completely than others?
I would love to see more posts on this.
