Hello!
This website is for people interested in mailart…
Specifically: artcards.
Especially mine.
In fact, this site exists for just one reason: To make it easy to receive a free artcard from me.
Currently, there are two main kinds of artcards: ATCs and other artcards.
I create both kinds. First, I’ll talk about my current artcards… or you can scroll down to the request-a-card part of this page.
My Current Artcards
As of early 2026, my latest artcards are postcards, sent through the mail, occasionally in envelopes, but usually “as-is,” the same as other postcards.
First, here’s are example of some of my recent (late 2025/early 2026) artcards.
(I’ve sent out over 50 artcards, so far, but I didn’t keep copies of most of them. Oops!)
This image shows one of my Blocks Series postcards, before and after I hand-colored it:

This next card is from my Moon Series postcards. (I actually decided to send them in envelopes, since each is an original, mixed media work of art, with collage elements.)
One of 11 mixed media artcards – each about 4″ x 6″ – sent in 2025.
Here’s a small version of the digital art installation, with images of all 11 postcards in that first Moon series. It’s now a poster at Fine Art America.

So anyway…

How to Receive a Free Artcard from Me
1) If you’d like to receive a free artcard in the mail, leave a comment below.
2) Include your full mailing (postal mail) address.
IMPORTANT: NO ONE ELSE will see it, except me (and you, if you revisit this site).
ALSO IMPORTANT: I send out a few artcards each week – sometimes as many as 10. It varies with my schedule. If it’s a busy week (or a hectic month, if we’re on the road), I may not send any out.
Also, most of my cards go to friends in the U.S., since postage is a LOT less within this country. (However, I do send artcards to friends in other countries. So, if you’re outside the U.S., sign up anyway.)
Be patient. Depending up on my time & budget – and how many people sign up – you might get a card next week. Or, it might show up in a couple of weeks. Or in a couple of months.
I’ll do the best that I can.
Want to Know More about Artcards…?
ATCs
ATCs are another kind of artcard.
Technically, they’re called Artist Trading Cards. Those cards are smaller – sometimes 3″ x 5″ but more often 2.5″ x 3.5″ – the same size as baseball trading cards. They’re usually sent in envelopes, and sometimes as part of a swap.
Here’s one of mine from around 2010. Yes, it’s my desk chair.

You can read more about that card at my article, ATC – Desk chair.
Generally, ATCs feature art, usually one-of-a-kind, on cards. Here are more examples from around 2010: ATCs and Digital Art
Often they’re shared with others. If you’d like me organize an ATC swap – or any kind of art swap – let me know. (Ask in comments, below.)
Some ATCs are called ACEOs, which stands for Art Cards limited Edition and Originals. They’re a bit different. Here’s an article about how I made one series in 2011: ACEOs – Production-line Shortcuts
(Also, if you’d like me to organize an ACEO swap, let me know in comments.)

AND… here’s where else to find me, online…
-
- My quirky/experimental art site is Aisling.net. When I’m testing art ideas – which may later develop into gallery-level art – I share my whims and insights as Aisling. (I adopted that name in the late 1990s, for privacy.)
- My fine art site – gallery-quality art and photos – is EileenMorey.com; yes, that’s the name on my birth certificate.
… Obviously, there’s some overlap between those sites.
