Next, my latest news…

I’ve launched an experimental Etsy shop, One Dollar Decor.

Just like the name says, it features my original photos (no AI, no stock photos) as digital downloads, starting at just $1.

I’ll offer these prices through December 26th, so people can buy fine art photos to print and give as very affordable holiday gifts.

Then, I’ll still offer a few $1 items each month, but there will be more at higher prices, too.

Now, even more news…

I’m writing this from a winter rental near Ogunquit, Maine (USA).

Note: In New England, a “winter rental” is a home, hotel suite, cabin, or motel room that’s rented – by the week or by the month – at a far lower rate than in the summer months. Usually, these are available between October and April, and some of them are really nice and in great locations!

A bit of history: At the end of June 2025, we left Florida. We thought it would be the first of two steps as we decide exactly where to put down roots.

We’re in coastal Maine for now, as my husband interviews for jobs, and – as time permits – we discover wonderful rural and coastal landscapes. Of course, this fits perfectly with my plans: to take more photos and create even more art!

FYI: I grew up in Belmont, Massachusetts – just outside Boston – and have lived in several states from Maine to Texas, and from Illinois to California… and more. So, moving isn’t entirely uncomfortable for me. (Tiresome at times, but not awful… and, besides, we LOVE Maine!)

ANYWAY…

As you can see, I’m reorganizing and updating this site – over 300 articles – so it’s more current, loads faster, and is easier to navigate.

And, to say thanks for reading this far, here’s another free digital download for you. (Click the image to download the PDF from Google Drive.)
