What is a door sign?
It’s a hand-drawn sign with an uplifting message, usually placed on my front door.
My door signs began in Orlando (Florida) during the peak of the Covid lockdown.
Many neighbors – especially Disney World Cast Members, unemployed while the parks were closed – were stressed.
To cheer them, I started posting upbeat messages on our front door. At the time, I called them “door signs,” and I still make them, now and then.
Here’s one that you can download and print. The image fits on an 8.5″ x 11″ sheet of paper. (The original was near an open, hallway window during a mid-March blizzard, so it has some imperfections.)
